Last night was one of our best shows ever, despite a few sound issues, we sold an insane amount of tickets, which just means that an awesome number of our friends, fans, and family were able to be there to share the amazing night with us. Thank you all for coming out. I can say that you made this one of the best nights of my life.
Amoride is going to be going through a lot of changes, and we hope you all will stay around to be part of them and share this with us. With Greyson leaving, we have a lot of searching to do. We are going to have to adjust our sound a little bit, our writing style will change slightly, but most of all, the Amoride family will be changing. This doesn't have to be a bad thing though. All of these can allow for improvement, and we need all of you to be there to support us, by coming to the shows of course, but more importantly, through moral support.
The greatest thing about being a musician is seeing people enjoying your music. When I see people that sing along to the music on stage, it makes all the insane amount of work I do to set this up worth while. I thank all of you for that. Just please, stick around, and if you are close to the band, be there for us when we have times of trouble, which we are going to have in the coming months. We are always looking to hear from new fans so don't be afraid to contact us if you'd just like to get to know us or hang out or talk about the music. You're the lifeblood of this band and we want to stay connected to every single one of you. There is so much planned to come in the next year and we can't do any of it with out you guys.
A band is nothing without it's fans. We make the music, but you all inspire us and shape the sound we end up with. We love getting feedback and comments from our fans, good or bad. We need your support to keep Amoride going and growing. By the end of next year I know that Amoride can be one of the biggest bands in Las Vegas, but we need all of your help. Keep coming to shows, tell your friends to come with you, and spread the word.
One huge thing you can do if you want to get more involved in helping us out is to join our Street Team. This is a new thing we've started and it's basically just a group of fans who pledge to help promote shows and get the word out, or whatever else the band might ask of our fans. If you want to get involved in that we would all appreciate it so much! Just go to our profile at www.reverbnation.com/amoride and find the street team button and click it! We're looking into rewards for dedicated street team members this coming year. Maybe free show tickets, merch, who knows what else!
This year we are already booking some great shows! January 21st, Amoride will be headlining at Area702 and we hope you will all be there. We are looking into Extreme Thing opportunities, and we have a show that may be coming up that we aren't really allowed to talk about yet. (Yes, it's that big!) Also, look for us playing on the Assemble the Skyline tour in April!
Another huge announcement is that............. AMORIDE is going to be going in to the studio!!! That's right, our goal is to have a full fledged 5 or 7 song EP recorded and ready to get out to you guys in March! Along with it, we should have a whole new line of t-shirt and other merch for you guys!
All of this amazing stuff that is happening is great for the band, but only if all of you care enough to be part of it. Thank you so much for everything you've done for us, and we hope that we've given you at least a good night at a show, if nothing else. If Amoride has done anything great for you, we'd love to hear about it. We hope that through this next year we see a bunch of amazing things coming from our fans. Thank you all for supporting us.
